The eagle of Khan Asparuh. Handmade massive bronze sculpture, silver-plated with 925 silver. Size 8 cm x 14 cm x 10 cm / height. In 1930, during archeological excavations on the banks of the Dnieper River near the village of Voznesenka (present-day Ukraine), archaeologist V. Grinchenko discovered dozens of burials by cremating noble soldiers. One of these burials contained a silver lion, a silver eagle, a golden stirrup, and other items later found to have belonged to Khan Asparuh.
