Bronze pendant "Bull's scoop" THE POWER OF THE ANCIENT SIGN I Y I The sacred Bulgarian symbol IYI, the symbol of the ruling family DULO, from which the early rulers of the proto-Bulgarians originated, actually appeared for the first time among the Thracians. The sign of the Mother Goddess is associated with the symbol of the bull. The Thracians created it, the Thracians used it, for the Thracians IYI had a sacred power. The primary meaning of IYI is Supreme Power, Divine Power. That is why it is painted on walls and tiles, through it the Divine power is called to guard the fortress. The sacred symbol IYI has the same power as the Christian cross, which was later included in seals, rings, flags. That is why the Bulgarian rulers use IYI as a heraldic sign of the founding family. Thus, even with the adoption of the Christian faith, the sign of the Thracians continues to be used by the Bulgarian people. This can only happen if it has been accepted by our ancestors for thousands of years and has become part of our spiritual heritage. The symbol of the bull, inextricably linked with the ancient sign IYI, since the lands of Thrace, is essential for the Bulgarians. He is one of the first important cult symbols in the lands of the Balkan Peninsula and it is not a cult of an animal, but an attitude towards a god. Placing the image over temples, regardless of the cult they represent, over tombs, sarcophagi, altars, etc. speaks of a universal symbol with the functions of protector, protector, guardian. The tour is the most ancient domesticated animal and with its power it really was all that. Archaeologists have found skulls on tours since the Neolithic, both to sanctuaries and near the four walls of ordinary dwellings. The image of a bull is placed next to the images of the Great Goddess. It is the masculine principle in nature and is associated with the fertilizing energy of the sun. The symbol of the bull, "Lord of the Animals", is not common, it did not arise miraculously and spontaneously among many and completely different ethnic groups, but was imposed in different places by the Paleo-Balkan people, called in antiquity Thracians and later Bulgarians. We can say with a clear conscience that the motif "The Lord of the Animals" and the resulting IYI are originally Bulgarian. The fact that IYI is found on Bulgarian ritual breads shows its great importance, which has won such an important place in the people's memory. This special symbol has been used for seven millennia in our country. There is no other land with such a long use of a sacred sign!
